Not at all. We run sessions for all skill levels, from beginners picking up their first Euro game to seasoned tournament players. Each event is clearly labeled by difficulty level, and our facilitators are there to teach rules and help everyone enjoy the experience. We’ve got everything from light party games to heavy strategy titles.

We host weekly strategy game clubs (usually Tuesday and Thursday evenings), monthly classical chess tournaments, and rotating cooperative campaign sessions. Events are held at our partner venues across Lisbon, Porto, and Covilhã. Check our event calendar for specific dates and locations near you—most gatherings start at 7 PM and run for about 3 hours.

We specifically cater to players aged 40 and up. That said, we welcome younger players who share our approach to thoughtful, strategic gaming. The sweet spot for our community is players in their 40s to 70s who appreciate classic games like chess and modern strategy titles. It’s a mature, respectful environment where the focus is on genuine gameplay and friendship.

Weekly game club sessions are 8 per person and include access to our full game library. Chess tournaments typically cost 12–18 per entry depending on format and prize pool. Cooperative campaign programs run 50–80 per person for a full 6-week season. We offer annual memberships (120/year) that give you unlimited club access and tournament discounts.

Absolutely. Your first game club session is just 5, no strings attached. You’ll get paired with a friendly table, learn the games, and meet other players. If you’re interested in chess tournaments, we recommend watching one first (free) to see the format and atmosphere before you sign up to compete.

There’s no obligation to attend every week. Pay as you go, whenever you can make it. Many of our regular members attend 2–3 sessions monthly and just show up when their schedule allows. For campaign programs, we ask for a commitment at the start since they’re ongoing stories, but life happens—just let us know if you need to sit out a session.
